Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to limit the number of archive months displayed in WordPress.

1. In the left sidebar of the admin dashboard, hover over “Appearance” and in the drop-down, click on, “Widgets”.

2. Click on the “Collapsing Archives” widget, then click “Add Widget”. Make sure “Primary” (A.K.A. your sidebar) is selected.

3. Review your settings and click on “Save”.

4. Now go to your WordPress blog to make sure your widget is working.

How to add a title attribute to a WordPress navigation menu

Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to apply a title attribute to a WordPress navigation menu.

1. On the left sidebar of the admin dashboard, hover over “Appearance” and click on “Menus”.

2. Then in the “Menus” page click on “Screen Options” which should be in the top right corner of the page.

3. Then in the menu it brings down, check mark the “Title attributes” option.

4. Click on one of your existing menus to expand it. You should now see the “Title Attribute” field.

5. Now, enter the text you want to use as a title attribute and click “Save Menu”.

6. Finally, visit your website to see if your title attribute is working.

How to embed a Google Form into a WordPress post

Hi, today I’m going to show you how to embed a Google Form into a WordPress post.

1. Visit the Google Forms site and click a template to start a new form (for this tutorial I’ll be using the “Blank” template).

2. Create your new form (form title, description, etc.).

3. Then, click “Send” in the top right corner and in the “Send form” box, click on the embed tab which should give you the HTML embed code.

4. Click on “Copy”. The embed code should now be in your clipboard.

5. In the WordPress admin area click on a post where you want to display the form or create a new one.

6. In the post edit area click on switch to the text editor (by clicking “Text”) and paste in the embed code.

7. Publish or update your post and boom, your Google Form is now embedded into your WordPress post.

How to create a WordPress page

Hi. Today I’m going to show you how to create a WordPress page.

1. Hover over “Pages” on the left sidebar and click “Add New”.

2. In the editor, add the title of your page.

3. Type what you want to type in the content box, which should look like this:

4. In the “Publish” box, click on “Preview” to see what your page looks like.

5. When you’re ready, click “Publish” and voila – you have successfully created a new WordPress page.

How to apply a WordPress page template

Hi, Today I’m going to show you how to apply a WordPress page template.

1. On the left sidebar, highlight “Pages” and click on “Add New”.

2. In the Editor, find the “Page Attributes” section, which should be located at the bottom right and has a drop-down list for templates.

3. Select the template you want to use in the drop-down menu (I’ll be using the “Full Width” template for this tutorial).

4. Preview your page to see the template in action.

How to hide a WordPress site from search engines using Yoast SEO plugin

Hi. Today I’m going to show you how to hide a WordPress page from search engines (Make sure you have the Yoast SEO plugin installed – here is a link to said plugin).

1. In the WordPress editor of your post, scroll down to the Yoast SEO meta-box and click on the advanced settings icon (which should look like this as seen in the image below).

2. In the “Meta robots index” section, select “noindex” from the drop-down, then in the “Meta robots follow” section click on “nofollow”.

3. Post or publish your page as usual, and it should now be hidden from search engines (ie Google).

How to include a Category in a WordPress URL

Hi. Today I’m going to show you how to include a category in a WordPress URL.

1. Hover over “Settings” in the sidebar and click on “Permalinks”.

2. In the Custom Settings section, add /%category%/%postname%/ to the URL field next to “Custom Structure” (make sure the “Custom Structure” option is selected).

3. Click on “Save Changes” and you should now start including a category in a WordPress URL.

4. Put a post under a category, then click “Update”. Your URL should now look like this:

How to add a new WordPress user

Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to add a new user account to your WordPress site.

1. In the left sidebar of the Dashboard, hover over “Users” and click “Add New” in the drop-down menu.

2. You can now enter your username, e-mail adresss, password, etc. for your new user.

3. Then, in the drop-down menu next to “Role”, select “Subscriber”.

4. Then, click on “Add New User” and you will have now created a new user account.

5. It should now appear like this in the “Users” section.

How to schedule a WordPress post

Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to schedule a WordPress post.

1. Next to “Publish Immediately” click “Edit”.

2. You should now see drop-down options for the month, day, year, and time to publish the post. For this tutorial, I’m setting the post to be scheduled for tomorrow.

3. Then, click “OK”, and a “Schedule” button should now appear in place of “Publish”.

Click on it and your post should now be scheduled for tomorrow.

How to add a menu to your WordPress site

Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to add a menu to your WordPress site.

1. In the left sidebar of the WordPress dashboard, hover over “Appearance” and click on “Menus”.

2. Type your desired name for the menu, then click “Create Menu”.

3. Drag any posts, pages, custom links or categories into your menu structure.

4. Your menu should now appear like this on the Top Bar of your site (alternately, you can change its display location in the menu settings):
